About

The longer version

I started programming because I liked making things work. I stayed because of the moment a difficult problem finally clicks. There's something addictive about staring at a problem that feels impossible, finding the one insight that changes everything, and realizing the solution was there all along. That's the part of engineering I enjoy most.

I'm a full-stack developer and competitive programmer pursuing Information Technology at VJTI, Mumbai. Competitive programming taught me to break down complex problems and appreciate elegant solutions; building products taught me that those ideas only matter if they solve real problems for real people. I try to keep both perspectives honest.

Outside of building software, I enjoy giving back to the community that helped me grow. Through the Community of Coders and my college's competitive programming club, I've mentored juniors, organized programming events, and tried to make competitive programming a little less intimidating for beginners. I've learned almost as much from teaching as I have from competing.

When I'm away from my laptop, you'll probably find me trekking somewhere with unreliable network coverage, planning the next trip with friends, solving a Rubik's Cube out of habit, or enthusiastically explaining why a particular algorithm is 'actually beautiful.'

Right now I'm focused on becoming a stronger backend and systems engineer. I'm fascinated by distributed systems, scalable architecture, and the engineering challenges that appear when software grows beyond a single machine. My goal is to build systems that are simple, reliable, and elegant as they scale.
